Front Runner is one of Australia’s fastest-growing street and sportswear brands — blending high-performance athletic design with a strong cultural and community presence. With a loyal following and a large retail footprint, we’ve built a strong foundation through relentless creativity, fast execution, and an obsession with quality and performance.

We produce 70–100 current ad creatives per week internally and spend hundreds of thousands across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels. Our next evolution is to bring paid media in-house — and we’re looking for someone exceptional to take the reins.

The Mission Lead and own Front Runner’s paid performance marketing — from strategy through execution — with one clear objective:

profitable scaling while acquiring new customers.

You’ll manage our multi‑channel performance ecosystem, optimising existing structures and accelerating growth across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms, while tightly aligning with our in‑house creative and leadership teams.

What You’ll Do This is a hands‑on role. Strategy is extremely important but you will be doing the work and must demonstrate that you are capable of doing so. This is an obsession for us and we all work very hard.

Own and manage all paid performance channels — Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest

Plan, execute, optimise, and scale — maintaining strong ROAS and healthy CAC

Test and iterate creative and audience combinations, using existing production assets and new ideas you help generate

Lead performance insights — report weekly on what’s working, what’s not, and where to double down

Collaborate with the content and creative team to brief, refine, and scale winning ads

Support international expansion — test audiences and roll out campaigns in new markets using existing creative frameworks

Maintain account hygiene and data integrity — pixels, events, attribution, and budget pacing

Collaborate with external partners (freelancers, platforms, or tech vendors) when required

Provide creative and copy feedback loops — turn numbers into ideas that drive new concepts

Keep campaigns performing around the clock — monitor pacing and performance with weekend vigilance when needed

What You’ll Bring

4–8+ years in

paid social / performance marketing, ideally at high‑growth DTC brands

Deep experience with

Meta Ads

(>$100k/month budgets), plus TikTok and YouTube

Proven ability to maintain and scale high ROAS campaigns through creative and targeting excellence

Strong analytical mindset — data‑driven, structured, and strategic

Experience briefing creatives and understanding visual storytelling in ads

Familiarity with

Shopify, GA4, and tracking platforms

(Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar)

A blend of

strategic discipline and tactical hunger — equally comfortable in the weeds and at the whiteboard

Ability to work in a

fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment

that rewards initiative and accountability

Willingness to be hands‑on, proactive, and available when campaigns require attention (weekends included)

Growth Path This role is designed to evolve. As we expand internationally and grow our performance department, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Compensation

DOE however advertised base salary at: $130,000–$150,000 AUD

Hybrid working environment (3 days required onsite, Gosford HQ - right next to train station)
