Southern Stars Air Conditioning Brisbane West is an Australian family-owned business specialising in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across domestic applications. From humble beginnings in a single-car garage in 2009, we've grown to become a respected name in the industry, now operating with branches in North Brisbane, Toowoomba, and Brisbane West.
We're currently seeking an Experienced Air Conditioning Installation Technician to join and lead our dedicated team in Ipswich. Mainly focusing on new build Ducted installations, the role includes working with site supervisors to ensure efficient and professional new home installs.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate who embodies our core values and brings a professional attitude to every job. The ideal candidate will have:
Key Attributes:
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
* Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
* Excellent communication skills with customers, builders, and teammates
* Strong work ethic and adaptability
* High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* Experience in ducted system installations (essential)
* Diagnostic and servicing skills (highly regarded)

Required Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, preferred but not required.
* 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices encouraged to apply
* ARC Refrigerant Handling License
* Restricted Electrical License (if qualified)
* Queensland Construction White Card
* Driver's License
* Current CPR/LVR Certificate

Key Responsibilities:
* Installation of split and ducted air conditioning systems on new home builds
* Fault diagnosis, breakdown service, and maintenance
* Warranty repairs (Myplace, Fujitsu and Daikin systems)
* Mentoring and training apprentices
