About the role and about you
Cricket Tasmania has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced coach to lead the female high performance batting program as the Batting Assistant Coach – Female Programs. The successful candidate will lead and manage the ongoing development of individual players and the Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes teams, who compete in the WNCL and WBBL competitions. We are looking for an Assistant Coach who has demonstrable success as a cricket coach at domestic and/or international level, with experience of working with elite and aspiring players. Of high importance is the ability to motivate, influence and develop a diverse group of professional cricketers with a people first coaching philosophy.
The Assistant Coach role provides an exciting opportunity to build upon the success of our WNCL and WBBL teams and enhance individual success at national representational level. The role therefore requires excellent planning and organisational skills, proven experience in measuring and tracking progress of skill and performance and the ability to ignite energy and motivate both the athletes and staff.
The successful candidate will need to have effective interpersonal skills and be able to connect and collaborate with several key stakeholders. We are looking for a proactive and positive person with a commitment to their own and others' professional development, embracing the latest coaching techniques and best practice.
