About the Role
We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an Assistant Accountant - Fixed Assets to join their growing finance team. This role will own the fixed asset register, supporting the full asset lifecycle from acquisition through disposal, while contributing to month-end reporting and audit requirements.
Key responsibilities
* Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
* Process asset additions, disposals, and transfers
* Assist with depreciation and month-end activities
* Support asset tracking, stocktakes, and reporting
* Prepare audit documentation and investigate discrepancies
About you
* Degree/Diploma qualified in an accounting, finance or related discipline
* 2 + years experience in a accounting support or asset administration role (need exposure to fixed assets)
* Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively
