THE OPPORTUNITY
WPC Group is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Light Vehicle Apprentice. This full-time position offers hands-on experience working with Nissan vehicles, alongside qualified technicians, while undertaking formal training through TAFE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist qualified technicians in diagnosing and servicing Nissan vehicles
* Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
* Operate diagnostic tools and technology to identify and resolve automotive issues
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
* Adhere to all safety protocols and workshop standards
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will:
* demonstrate a genuine passion for the automotive industry
* Have a strong commitment to completing an apprenticeship.
* Be eager to learn, possess excellent communication skills
* Shows initiative in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIRED ATRIBUTES
* Enthusiasm for a career in automotive
* Willingness to undertake TAFE studies as part of the apprenticeship
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Desire to grow and develop professionally
* Previous experience or a Certificate II in Automotive is advantageous but not essential
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Hold a current and valid driver's licence
