Ongoing operational and clinical supervision, along with opportunities for continued professional development and training in therapy modalities About the role Deliver specialist mental health nursing care to children, adolescents and families within CAMHS. Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, the role provides assessment, therapeutic intervention, education and clinical leadership to support recovery-focused, culturally responsive care. Key duties of the role Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based mental health care for children and adolescents Provide therapeutic interventions, counselling and group programs to support recovery Work in partnership with consumers and families using a recovery-oriented framework Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance and staff development Skills and Experience Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a recognised mental health qualification Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in mental health nursing Demonstrated experience assessing and managing complex child and adolescent presentations Strong communication, leadership and conflict resolution skills Commitment to recovery-oriented, culturally responsive and family-centred care Enquiries can be directed to Daniel Centofanti – Senior Social Worker, 7117 3800 or Daniel.Centofanti@sa.gov.au Want to learn more about career opportunities at WCHN?
