Be part of the next chapter in mobile innovation
Join the Mobile team on a 12-month contract as a Product Manager – Strategic Initiatives. Sitting within our Consumer Mobile Product team, this is a dynamic and strategic role where you’ll shape our product roadmap, drive key initiatives, and help define the "Why Optus" story across postpaid, prepaid, and connected devices.
You’ll lead cross-functional teams, solve complex business challenges, and deliver end-to-end outcomes across a large product portfolio. From customer payments to mobile propositions—you’ll help deliver products that excite, connect, and deliver real value.
Your day to day
* Defining our OptusPay and payments products proposition
* Assisting in the definition of the roadmap of initiatives to support a clear and consistent ‘Why Optus’ story for relevant target segments
* Developing strategy and key execution plan to deliver key transformation programs across Optus relating to Mobile product and shared Customer Solutions platforms
* Leading continuous improvement projects from idea to execution, working with internal and external collaborators, achieving revenue and cost goals
* Ensuring that the product plans align with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Your skills to pay the bills
You’re a strategic problem solver with strong business sense and a deep focus on customer happiness. You balance creativity with data, and you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where every day brings something new.
* Strong experience in product, marketing, or related roles
* Experience running complex product initiatives across mobile or digital platforms
* A proven grasp of P&L ownership, technical delivery, and customer journey optimisation
* Strong stakeholder engagement and a collaborative, "get-it-done" approach
* A passion for innovation, performance and doing things differently
* Advance problem solving with consideration across marketing, commercial & technical outcomes
