Job Responsibilities:
Managing a personal portfolio of cases and building client relationships.
Mentoring and supervising junior staff members.
Providing advice on liability, quantum, and claims strategies, including managing highly sensitive claims.
Communicating effectively with third parties, including experts and Counsel.
Demonstrating a high degree of initiative, dedication, and time management skills.
Maintaining a strong client and commercial focus.
Articulating and negotiating effectively with a commercial approach.
Using a strong, plain language communication style to ensure clarity and understanding.
Education and Experience Information
A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent qualification.
A current New South Wales practising certificate.
A minimum of 4 years' post-admission experience specifically in workers compensation, work injury damages, and common law personal injury, with a focus on representing respondents/defendants.
Experience and a passion for mentoring and supervising junior staff.
