Your key responsibilities - Provide technical expertise to support, maintain, and enhance critical business applications.- Develop, undertake and continuously refine routine, proactive system checks and maintenance activities on business-critical systems.- Provide specialist technical knowledge and skills in the fulfilment of requests from either clients, other IT teams, or external service providers.- Provide responsive escalated technical support in the investigation and resolution of complex incidents and problems.- Assist in the delivery of discrete operational project work packages or managed activities as directed by your team leader or the management team.- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including clients, colleagues, other business units, andexternal providers.- Maintain an awareness of current and emerging whole of Government ICT through researching of strategies, policies, standards, and of relevant technologies and industry best practice.- Use your initiative and proactive approach to identify opportunities and initiatives that will enhance I&CT delivered services. Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability - Knowledge and/or Experience of application administration and support practices for applications that use Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Power Platform- Sound Knowledge and/or experience with technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Solaris and Unix Servers.- Knowledge and experience working in an IT application support environment that supports and maintains critical services with demanding service level targets.- Sound understanding of ITIL processes, including incident and request management along with continuous improvement principles.- Knowledge of Court and registry procedures including the use of required technology in Queensland Courts, or a willingness to gain knowledge quickly.- Knowledge of Courts applications and their operation in courts and the ability to analyse and recommend solutions to non-technical issues arising from the operation of the applications, would be desirable. Qualifications and conditions There are no mandatory qualifications.
