Job Title: Domestic and Family Violence Specialist
Make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable people by joining our team as a Domestic and Family Violence Specialist.
This varied and challenging role will involve providing support to children and families who are experiencing domestic and family violence, while promoting their health, safety, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the voices of children and young people are heard and respected.
* Provide holistic case management, delivering support to vulnerable and disadvantaged clients and supporting relationships for favorable client outcomes.
* Identify strengths, establish goals for the program, and review client progress towards these goals.
* Promote skills that increase health, safety, and development, and enhance stakeholder relationships and partnerships.
* Work collaboratively within a small team to deliver best practice to women and children who are experiencing DFV.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in case management and knowledge of relevant legislation.
* Knowledge and previous experience working in the Domestic and Family Violence or closely related human services context.
* Demonstrated experience and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and families.
* Strong report writing, analytical, and evaluation skills, including data collection and analysis.
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or significant experience working in a similar service.
