Project Engineer for Oil and Gas Asset Optimization
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Perth. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering maintenance, reliability, and CMMS engineering services to ensure operational readiness and asset optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimize maintenance strategies aligned with regulations, standards, and client requirements.
* Prepare and maintain maintenance and materials master data.
* Identify critical spares, manage SPIRs, and optimize stock levels for reliability.
* Perform equipment criticality analysis and update maintenance work instructions.
* Provide technical support, peer reviews, and mentoring within the project team.
* Lead improvement initiatives to address recurring issues and enhance asset reliability.
* Review specifications and drawings, recommending modifications to improve performance.
* Manage CTRs, schedules, and budgets for assigned work.
Requirements:
* Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred).
* Minimum 9 years' experience in maintenance engineering within oil and gas or similar heavy industry.
* Strong background in maintenance strategy, operations readiness, and reliability engineering.
* Advanced skills in SAP, FMECA, RCA, and RCM.
* Knowledge of CMMS, master data management, and process safety standards.
* Eligible for Engineers Australia membership.
