Seasonal Full Time Library Assistant, Elizabeth Taber Library (Marion)
The Elizabeth Taber Library, a small historic yet modern library in the seaside community of Marion, is seeking a Seasonal Full‐time Library Assistant.
35 hours a week from June – August, including one evening a week and Saturday hours.
Starting salary: $16.00/hour.
Under the direction and management of the Director, the Library Assistant engages in all facets of library services, policies and procedures, and provides all patron‐based services at the Circulation Desk including circulation services, computer and tech assistance, enforcing library policies, reference and readers' advisory services, book processing and shelving, opening and closing procedures, and assistance with summer programming.
Qualifications
Library experience, particularly in a library within the SAILS network, is preferred; customer or public service experience is required.
