About the Role
As a Level One Service Desk Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for users needing IT support. You'll assist with everyday technology issues, answer questions, and help keep systems running smoothly.
You'll work closely with the wider Ridgetech team, follow well-defined processes, and receive ongoing guidance and support as you build your technical skills and confidence. This role offers exposure to a variety of technologies and client environments, making it an excellent foundation for a long-term IT career.

What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
* Respond to IT support requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
* Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and application issues
* Accurately log, update, and manage tickets within the service desk system
* Provide remote support and guide users through solutions step by step
* Assist with the setup, onboarding, and configuration of devices and applications
* Create and update simple documentation and knowledge base articles
* Know when to escalate more complex issues and provide clear information to senior technicians
* Follow up with users to ensure issues are fully resolved and they feel supported
