Temporary (part time) 0.60 FTE appointment 23 March 2026 until 2 April 2027 with the possibility of a further temporary appointment &/ or permanency.
Central Regional TAFE is responsible for delivering customer focused, industry aligned training and pathways to higher education to build a skilled, productive and employment ready workforce. We deliver 185 courses to 10,000 students each year in the Mid West region - Geraldton, Batavia Coast Maritime Institute and Technology Park, the Gascoyne region - Carnarvon and Exmouth, the Goldfields region – Kalgoorlie and the Wheatbelt region - Northam, Merredin and Moora.

About the role
The Electrical & Electronic Technician provides support to the Electrical Team and Portfolio and assists to maintain a safe workplace. They will ensure all tools, equipment, training aid and industry/services, workshops are maintained and kept in a serviceable condition. They will also purchase equipment, liaise with contractors and carry out general maintenance.
Qualifications
To work for the College, you may be required to hold Australian or Australian equivalent qualification(s). If your qualification has been obtained overseas, the Overseas Qualifications Unit (OQU) offers a free assessment service to have your tertiary or higher education qualification(s) recognised.
