Forklift Operator
Location: Somerton, Melbourne, Australia
Salary: AUD47 - AUD48 per hour
We're looking for experienced night shift Counterbalance forklift operators to work in our busy recycling facility located in Somerton.You'll help our production lines run smoothly, support your colleagues, and make a real impact on how we work – all while being part of a friendly, safety-first team.
Candidates must be willing to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
Night Shift: 10pm to 6am – Monday to Friday
What You'll Do
* Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move raw materials, work‐in‐progress, finished goods, and waste around the site.
* Keep production lines flowing by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time.
* Work alongside the production team to support equipment and processes.
* Communicate openly with supervisors and colleagues to keep operations smooth and protected.
* Pitch in on other operational tasks as needed – no two days are the same!
What We're Looking For
* Valid LF Forklift Licence (essential)
* Forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred)
* Confidence working in a busy, fast‐moving setting
* Valuable communication and team skills
* Willing to work in a noisy and dirty environment
* Physically capable and ready to get involved in all other duties, including general cleaning.
