Are you a detail-driven Credit Officer ready to make a positive impact on cash flow and customer relationships? We’re looking for a proactive, collaborative professional to join our finance team at our beautiful Head Office in Moorabbin.


About the role

As a Credit Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing debtor accounts, resolving claims, and supporting new account onboarding - all while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Credit Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our mission: maximize sales, minimize bad debts, and improve DSO through efficient credit management.


Key Responsibilities

* Accurate entry and allocation of cash receipts, including major accounts
* Reconcile payment gateways and online portal receipts
* Manage debtor ledger in line with credit policies and compliance standards
* Follow up overdue accounts and document contact history
* Investigate and resolve customer claims and suspended orders
* Assess new account applications and manage PPSR registrations
* Build strong relationships with Sales and Customer Operations teams
* Support month-end and calendar-end processes (some weekend work required)
* Contribute to continuous improvement and cross-functional projects.


What you’ll bring

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Credit Officer or similar role
* Strong understanding of end-to-end credit processes
* Intermediate Excel skills and high attention to detail
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* A collaborative, hands-on approach with a growth mindset.
