Electrical Network Technician
As an Electrical Network Technician, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of works associated with the construction and maintenance of our electricity network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of maintaining a future-focused electricity network for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Asset construction and maintenance including cable termination, mini pillar maintenance and switchgear maintenance
* Fault response and fault rectification works
* The installation of services from our distribution network to customers' premises
* Connection and disconnection of supply including non-payment of account disconnections
* Participate in on-call & shift-work rosters as necessary based on company policy.
* Customer quality of supply investigations and electrical infrastructure testing
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum Certificate III Systems Electrician qualification
* Previous successful work in the field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure
* High risk license – EWP
* OH&S General Induction Card
* Asbestos Awareness training
* Hold a current ACT motor vehicle licence or its acceptable equivalent
