Senior Occupational Therapist Role
This is a highly specialized position for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-level clinical services and leadership across specific work units. The role involves delivering independent clinical practice with minimal supervision, as well as providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. They will be responsible for:
* Delivering High-Level Services: Providing expert clinical advice, education, and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and stakeholders.
* Leadership and Supervision: Providing leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Occupational Therapy practitioners and students as delegated.
* Service Improvement: Taking a leadership role in the monitoring of professional clinical standards and outcomes, service improvement activities, Performance and Development Plans (PDP), quality activities, evidence-based practice, clinical research programs.
