Finance Officer (AP/AR) Mascot, Sydney | Hybrid (2 days WFH) | $70,000 - $75,000 Super A growing and well-established organisation with international operations is seeking a Finance Officer (AP/AR) to join its collaborative finance team in Mascot. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-5 years of accounting experience who enjoys working across accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations and month-end support in a dynamic and supportive environment. Reporting to a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting activities and contributing to process improvements. The Role In this hands-on role, you will support the finance team with a variety of accounting responsibilities, including: End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, including PO matching, invoice entry, payment runs and clearing payments Managing the AP inbox and liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding invoice queries Preparing and reconciling AP ageing reports Processing staff expense reimbursements and supplier payments within set deadlines Assisting with credit card and major vendor reconciliations Supporting Accounts Receivable queries where required Assisting with month-end tasks and reconciliations Supporting preparation of GST, FBT and other statutory reporting Performing ad-hoc finance and reporting tasks as required About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 1-5 years' experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Payable, or similar finance role A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related discipline Intermediate Excel skills Experience with accounting systems such as SAP or similar ERP systems Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Excellent communication skills when working with internal and external stakeholders A positive, proactive attitude and strong team mentality Applicants with Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship are preferred.
