About the Role
As Insights Manager, you'll be a trusted partner to leadership, leveraging data and analytics to drive business and marketing performance across our Australia division. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Performance & Lifecycle Marketing, Product, Data, and Operations—to analyse marketing and sales data, uncover key trends, and translate insights into strategies that optimise campaigns, customer engagement, and business outcomes.
You'll also work closely with our Data team to advance our analytics, AI, and data science capabilities.
Day to Day You Will:
* Analyse sales and marketing data from web, mobile, social, and campaign sources to identify trends and actionable insights.
* Deliver meaningful insights that inform business and marketing decisions.
* Partner with business leaders to design and implement data-driven promotional and marketing strategies.
* Track and measure sales, revenue, and campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
* Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and operations to share insights and align strategies.
* Clearly communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Translate data into actionable recommendations with a strong understanding of our business and industry.
Example Projects & Responsibilities:
* Develop dashboards and reports for key business metrics.
* Use A/B testing and predictive analytics to optimise campaigns and maximise ROI.
* Track the performance of advertising and social channels to drive conversions.
* Analyse transaction and account data to support fraud and risk monitoring.
* Segment customers to identify high-value groups and tailor marketing messaging.
* Identify and resolve data quality issues in partnership with the Data team.
What You Can Bring:
* Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
* 3+ years' experience in analytics, insights, data science, machine learning, or AI, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
* Proven experience developing and deploying advanced analytics in a business environment.
* Proficiency with BI and data visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, Hex).
* Domain knowledge of product and marketing disciplines and the application of data to drive value.
* Strong grasp of AI trends, data science methodologies, and statistical techniques.
* Ability to work independently and adapt strategies based on market feedback.
Salary Banding:
$140,000 – $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus performance-based incentives.
