Position Summary:
* Permanent, Full-Time & Part-Time positions (64 or 80 hrs + ADO - negotiable)
* 7-day rotating roster - including night duty
* Non-clinical days, personal development leave entitlements negotiable
* Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4
* Located at The Alfred
* $3,000 AUD relocation allowance available
Department: Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is responsible for the operation of services which focus on people with a mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.
About the Role:
The Emergency Psychiatry team is comprised of dedicated and compassionate mental health clinicians. This is an incredibly unique and diverse role, which branches across four main areas – Crisis Assessment and Treatment, Triage, Emergency Psychiatry, and APACER. Unlike other mental health services where staff generally are siloed into one specific team, this is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of unique settings and be a valued member of a supportive team which provides support across each stream depending on demand.
About You:
* Approved tertiary qualifications and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board via AHPRA
* Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience
* Previous work within an acute community mental health setting, and Drug and alcohol experience is highly regarded
* Australian working rights and current Influenza vaccination
