Student Placement Coordinator Job Description
The Student Placement Coordinator is a key role in the delivery of Allied Health placements across the East Kimberley. This position oversees the organization and coordination of placements, ensuring students receive safe, effective, and culturally responsive learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Placement Coordination: Coordinate Allied Health clinical placements with Academic Leads, Clinical Educators, and partner organizations.
2. Logistics Management: Manage all logistics associated with placements, including schedules, finances, travel, and accommodation.
3. Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with placement partners, universities, Aboriginal community-controlled organizations, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification and experience in administration, health, or education, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
* Experience in clinical practicum or placement coordination within a tertiary or health setting is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships across diverse professional and cultural contexts.
