Job Description
In this key role, you will oversee mechanical design work, produce technical drawings and specifications for project implementation. You will lead the development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes.
Main Responsibilities
* Evaluates and applies standard mechanical engineering methods and procedures to ensure effective project delivery
* Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates mechanical components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides
* Performs calculations and preliminary analysis leading to technical design recommendations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
* Coordinates with designers to produce layouts for various mechanical systems, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and pumps
* Evaluates and selects suitable materials for projects, considering factors such as durability and sustainability
* Develops and implements process improvements to enhance project efficiency and reduce costs
