About the Opportunity
Join a dynamic and recovery-oriented team delivering holistic, evidence-based care to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. The Macarthur Assertive Treatment Team operates under the Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) model, offering assertive outreach and community-based interventions that reduce hospital admissions and promote wellness in the community. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, developing individualised care plans, and working collaboratively with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary colleagues. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive, strengths-focused environment on a 7-day rotating roster.
What You'll be Doing
To deliver psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, interventions and consultation in order to address the needs of consumers who are living with complex mental health problems and disorders.
The role also participates in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services and assists in the development and provision of education and training programs. Additionally, the role supervises Psychologists and other disciplines working within the LHD according to organisational needs.

* Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.
* Describe your experience in delivering evidence-based clinical interventions, including assessments, treatment planning, and referrals. How do you ensure your approach remains collaborative and inclusive of consumers, their families, and natural support.
* Provide an example of how you have contributed to a multidisciplinary team, including any leadership, supervision, or quality improvement activities. How did your input enhance clinical outcomes or service delivery?
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
