HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic — Salisbury — £19.50 p/h (Mon–Fri Days, 40 hrs, Permanent)
Join a busy workshop in Salisbury as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician / HGV Fitter / LGV Technician. You'll carry out servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles to DVSA/manufacturer standards—within a supportive team and on reliable day shifts.
The role — HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician
* Perform servicing, inspections and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
* Diagnose faults (mechanical/electrical) and implement effective repairs
* Work with fellow technicians to maintain productivity and quality
* Complete accurate documentation (job cards, service records, compliance)
What you'll bring
* Level 3 HGV Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI or equivalent)
* Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician / HGV Fitter
* Strong diagnostic and faultâ€'finding skills; safetyâ€‐first, rightâ€‐firstâ€‐time mindset
* Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous)
Pay, hours & type
* Rate: £19.50 per hour (DOE)
* Hours: 40 per week
* Shifts: Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:30 (day shifts)
* Job type: Fullâ€'time, permanent
* Location: Salisbury
