About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and skilled carpenter to join our growing residential construction team. You’ll be working across a range of projects including framing, cladding, decking, pergolas, and general carpentry. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out all aspects of residential carpentry
* Wall framing, roof framing, and structural work
* Installation of doors, windows, and cladding systems
* Decking, fencing, pergolas, and general outdoor structures
* Reading and interpreting plans
* Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
* Working to deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship
Requirements (Experience & Skills):
* Minimum 3 years’ carpentry experience
* Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of residential construction
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
* Own tools and reliable transport
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Physically fit and able to handle manual work
* Strong attention to detail and work ethic
* Ability to work unsupervised when required
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience with cladding systems (e.g., Axon, Hebel)
* Experience in renovations and extensions
* Driver’s licence and own ute/trailer
* Basic understanding of site set-out
