We are a locally established company with over 20 years operating across Tasmania, specialising in commercial HVAC maintenance, repairs and installation.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Trade Qualified Mechanical Plumber / HVAC Technician to join our Hobart team.
This role offers a mix of installation and service work across commercial, government and council sites — providing variety and long-term stability.
We are particularly interested in either:
* An experienced tradesperson ready to step into a Leading Hand / Field Supervisor role, or
* A motivated technician looking to progress their career into leadership.
* A skilled tradesperson who simply takes pride in quality work and wants a stable, long-term role on the tools.
Flexible arrangements available including full-time, 8 or 9-day fortnight, or reduced hours for experienced tradespeople.
The Role
* Installation of commercial HVAC systems (Multi-Split, Ducted & VRF/VRV systems)
* Installation of ventilation and exhaust systems
* Mechanical plumbing works on commercial projects
* Service, fault finding and equipment upgrades
* Working independently and as part of a team
* Leading site works and mentoring apprentices (for senior candidates)
Work is primarily based in the Hobart region.

What You Need to Succeed
* Trade Qualification – Mechanical Services Plumber (or equivalent)
* Relevant Tasmanian licences
* Full Driver's Licence
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* Supervisory experience (desirable but not essential)
* Working with Vulnerable People registration (desirable)
