Caregiver Role in Orange
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Orange. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our customers, providing personalized care and support to enhance their well-being.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for providing daily care and assistance to our customers, including personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and social support. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, each with their unique needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Personal Care: Assist with toileting, bathing, showering, oral hygiene, and other personal hygiene needs.
* Meal Preparation: Cook, prepare, and plan meals for our customers.
* Transportation: Transport customers to medical appointments, social engagements, shopping, and other outings as required.
* Social Support: Provide welfare checks, foster meaningful connections, offer empathetic companionship, and maintain connections to the community.
* Domestic Assistance: Perform duties such as vacuuming, laundry, general cleaning, dusting, washing dishes, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets, making beds, and basic home and garden maintenance.
Requirements
* A driver's license and a fully registered and insured vehicle.
* A current First Aid qualification, including CPR.
* A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent (desired but not essential).
* NDISWC and WWCC (or willingness to obtain).
* Experience in using technology, such as smartphones and computer programs.
