Full-time Process Engineer (industrial) position available in Milperra, NSW 2214 On behalf of Hew Group, a well-established fit -out and demolition company with over seven years of experience specialising in the removal of commercial and residential structures across the Sydney metropolitan area, we are seeking a qualified and skilled Process Engineer (industrial) to join our leadership team. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Assesses crew responsibilities, project workflows, and site operations to identify inefficiencies, overlaps, and opportunities for streamlining demolition processes. Develops labour utilisation standards by observing demolition tasks, machinery use, and manual operations across various equipment sizes and attachments. Analyses equipment deployment, site logistics, and project timelines to maximise output and reduce idle time for plant and personnel. Designs and refines demolition processes and mechanical systems involving excavators, rock saws, tipper trucks, and trailers to improve precision and efficiency. Specifies requirements for equipment usage, material handling, fuel management, and attachment integration across job sites to optimise operational flow. Plans and monitors scheduling of plant, vehicle movement, and labour to ensure demolition projects are executed efficiently and safely across multiple Sydney locations. Develops and enforces safety, maintenance, and quality control protocols tailored to demolition operations involving heavy machinery and hazardous environments. Conducts regular inspections of excavators, trucks, and attachments to ensure equipment performance meets project and safety standards. Oversees the maintenance schedules for all plant and support vehicles, coordinating inspections, repairs, and improvements as needed. Collaborates with the site supervisor to introduce improvements in worksite layout, fuel logistics, equipment utilisation, and demolition techniques for enhanced job performance. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between: $75,000 - $95,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
