Registered Nurse Opportunity
Our Aged Care Facility in Orange is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering high-quality personal care and clinical services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance and support to care staff in implementing infection control procedures
* Work with the Director of Care to identify risks and provide suggestions for service delivery
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
* Coordinate and support resident's case conferences and specialist appointments
* Assist in managing hospital transfers and post-hospital care
* Oversee safe and efficient medication administration in partnership with pharmacy providers
* Contribute to resident admissions planning and waiting list management
* Assist visiting doctors who attend the facility to conduct care recipient consultations
Requirements for Success:
* Currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
* Computer literate with strong communication and documentation skills
* At least 12 months' experience working in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse
* Experienced dealing with challenging behaviours
* Mental Health background desirable
* Flu and Covid Booster vaccination mandatory
* NDIS Workers Screen clearance or willingness to obtain one
