What's the role?
As the Westpac State Lead NSW/ACT – Broker Distribution, you will play a pivotal role in driving Westpac's growth strategy within one of its most critical home lending acquisition channels. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for the performance, engagement and strategic direction of a frontline distribution team made up of Business Development Managers and Broker Support Officers. You'll lead the charge in deepening broker relationships, delivering sustainable lending growth, enhancing broker and customer outcomes, and fostering a high-performing, customer-first culture. Through strong sales leadership, market activation, and operational discipline, you'll ensure Westpac remains a broker partner of choice across the NSW market.
How will I help?
* Lead and coach a high-performing, State-based distribution team of Business Development Managers and Broker Support Officers
* Drive strategic growth, home loan settlements, broker experience and NPS outcomes across the NSW broker channel
* Develop and execute targeted market activation strategies to maximise broker engagement and business opportunities
* Act as a senior point of contact for escalations and complex issue resolution between brokers, aggregators, and internal teams
* Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with key aggregators and top-tier broker groups to drive sustainable business growth
* Embed structured operating rhythms, sales disciplines, and performance routines across the team for consistent execution
* Support capability uplift and career development through coaching, mentoring and performance management
* Champion a strong risk culture and ensure compliance with customer service and risk management frameworks
What do I need?
* Proven success in sales coaching and performance uplift
* An existing and credible broker network
* Business or Retail Bankin g experience
