Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
Finance Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records and process property transactions in Xero.
- Complete monthly accruals, prepayment journals, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG instalments, and assist with audits.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable, including intercompany transactions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
Administration Duties
- Oversee filing systems, archives, and lease documentation.
- Coordinate with external valuers and maintain property information registers.
- Manage asset management software and liaise with managing agents.
- Provide general office support and share reception duties.
A Successful Finance Assistant Should Have
- A degree or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team workplace.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
