* Full‐time, fixed‐term position for up to 12 months.
* Base salary: $82,057.75 – $109,246.18 plus 17% Superannuation (Academic Level A).
* Work location: St Lucia Campus, Brisbane, Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
* Establish and lead a research program, collaborate on projects, seek and manage research funding, publish in reputable journals, and apply best‐practice research methodologies.
* Supervise and develop researchers and students, provide performance feedback, and ensure correct remuneration and benefits.
* Develop partnerships, mentor colleagues, engage in internal service roles and committees, support administrative functions, and uphold university values.
About You
* Completion or near completion of a PhD in polymer or organic chemistry.
* Emerging profile in research within chemistry, materials science, or engineering.
* Evidence of publications in refereed journals and conference presentations.
* Evidence of contributions to external research funding.
* Experience in meaningful internal service roles or external activities.
