We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Secretary who is ready to take the next step in their career. If you're passionate about healthcare and thrive in a fast-paced specialist clinical environment, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a part-time position based at our Westmead clinic, with regular shifts on Tuesdays from 7am-5pm and Saturdays from 8am-12pm. Early morning starts are required, and flexibility to cover sick and annual leave is essential.
Responsibilities
* Front desk/reception and general secretarial duties
* Additional support for our Fertility Specialists
* Front reception, secretarial and administration duties
* Any other tasks requested by the Unit Administration Manager
What you'll be doing
As the first point of contact, you will provide an outstanding level of customer service both meeting and greeting patients and over the telephone. Be a valuable team member for the clinic – Living up to IVF Australia's image, culture and core values. Develop a strong relationship with one of our Fertility Specialists, clearly define their needs/requirements and ensure they are performed at the highest standard.
About you
* Previous experience as a Medical Secretary ideally working in a medical specialist environment
* Thrive on working in a fast paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to adapt to individual work styles and varying situations, with a flexible approach to work
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* A high level of communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with all levels of people
* A current drivers licence and access to a vehicle
