What We're Looking For
* Qualified Carpenter with residential and/or commercial experience
* Someone who takes genuine pride in their craftsmanship
* Ability to run jobs independently and maintain a high standard
* Strong understanding of scopes, sequencing, and timelines
* Clear, confident communicator with a team-focused attitude
* Reliable, respectful, and committed to quality outcomes
* Leadership potential or experience running small teams (highly regarded)
Your Role
* Carry out carpentry works to a high standard
* Lead small projects from start to finish when required
* Work closely with our plastering and project teams
* Ensure accuracy, site safety, and quality control
* Deliver excellent outcomes on both homes and commercial sites
* Represent United Plastering professionally at all times
* Be available for travel across Tasmania when required (majority of work remains Launceston/Northern Tasmania based)
Requirements
* Carpentry trade qualification
* White Card
* Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration — or willingness to obtain
* Current driver's licence + reliable vehicle
* Own tools (or willingness to acquire)
* Right to work in Australia
