Overview
You will complete a Certificate IV Information Technology qualification over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and our host employer Department of Education.
This program provides opportunities to work in an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) role, including:
- Providing IT support to customers over the phone, face to face, via email and online chat
- Providing onsite IT support by travelling to offices and schools to resolve hardware and software issues
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in relevant business systems
- Providing support to the IT Projects team by participating in major capital works activities
What you'll bring to the table
To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:
- Commitment to both on and off the job training
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Valuable communication skills, both verbal and written
Mandatory requirements
- Current driver's licence, and willingness to travel to NSW public schools and offices in the designated area
- Current National Police Check and Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
