Senior Associate / Special Counsel – Employment Relations & Safety | Brisbane

Our client is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its high-performing Employment Relations & Safety team in Brisbane. This is an opportunity to work on complex, meaningful matters—particularly within the public sector—while being supported by a collaborative and down-to‐earth team.
Working closely with a highly regarded Partner and a respected group of practitioners, you'll play a key role advising government and private sector clients on a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters.
What you'll be doing:
* Advising on workforce management, disciplinary processes and IR strategy
* Acting in disputes across tribunals, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and general protections matters
* Managing investigations into misconduct, corruption and code of conduct issues
* Supporting clients with performance, termination and compliance matters
* Delivering training and thought leadership across workplace issues
What you'll bring:
* 5+ years' PAE in employment/IR law
* Strong experience across federal and Queensland IR frameworks
* Background working with (or advising) government clients highly regarded
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
* A genuine interest in mentoring and contributing to team development
