Are you an experienced warehouse leader who enjoys running a tight operation and getting orders out accurately and on time? WHG is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our small warehouse team and keep our growing hydroponics business moving.

The role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and accurate running of the warehouse. You will lead a team of Warehouse Operators and work closely with Production, Procurement, Sales and Customer Service.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put away, picking, packing and dispatch
Maintain accurate inventory records in Unleashed and ensure all movements are recorded on the same day
Book and manage freight through MachShip and liaise with carriers to meet delivery time frames
Lead, coach and support two Warehouse Operators, including daily toolbox talks
Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and compliance with WHG procedures and ISO systems
Support stocktakes, investigate variances and suggest practical improvements
About you
You are a practical, organised warehouse leader who is comfortable on the floor, giving clear direction and pitching in where needed.
You will bring:
At least four (4) years experience in warehouse operations
Experience as a leading hand or supervisor with direct reports is highly desirable
Strong skills in planning work, setting priorities and meeting deadlines
Confidence using warehouse or ERP systems, ideally Unleashed and MachShip
A genuine commitment to safety and a clean, orderly workplace
Required:
Current forklift licence LF
Ability to meet the physical requirements of warehouse work
