Job description:
The Roof Plumber role undertakes roof plumbing and associated construction works across residential and commercial building projects. The position is multi-skilled in nature and supports the delivery of construction works including remote locations.
· Install, maintain and repair roof flashings, including interfaces at penetrations, wall junctions and roof edges.
· Install and repair metallic roof and wall claddings, including trims, cappings and related components.
· Install, maintain and repair rainwater systems, including gutters, downpipes and associated fittings.
· Identify and rectify water ingress issues associated with roofing, cladding and rainwater management systems.
· Assist with roof structures and external building elements to support roofing and cladding works, including pitched roofs, eaves and related components.
· Carry out general construction activities associated with building works, including framing, flooring systems, installation of windows and doors, and minor demolition.
· Erect and dismantle formwork and access systems as required to support construction activities.
· Read and interpret plans and specifications, carry out measurements and calculations, and organise work activities accordingly.
· Use hand tools, power tools and general construction equipment safely and effectively.
