The Role
We are seeking an outstanding English teacher to join our high‐performing learning area and support continuous improvement of the teaching of literature. The successful candidate will work across Years 7–12, bring expertise in the Western Australian Curriculum, and assist students requiring extra literacy support in Modified Pathway classes.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging learning experiences that develop analytical, creative, and critical thinking skills.
* Differentiate curriculum to meet individual student needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching strategies, resources and whole‐school approaches to learning and wellbeing.
* Use a range of high‐impact teaching strategies.
* Maintain strong classroom management and student rapport.
Qualifications & Skills
* A degree in Education or a related field.
* Eligible teaching qualification (state‐registered).
* Strong knowledge of the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) syllabus.
* Experience teaching Years 7–12 and supporting students in Modified Pathway classes.
* Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and curriculum innovation.

Eligibility
* Hold an eligible teaching qualification.
