As we accelerate our expansion across Victoria, we are seeking a senior Account Manager / Business Development professional who brings commercial maturity, strategic thinking and a proven ability to grow profitable accounts.
The Opportunity
This is a high-autonomy, territory-ownership role suited to someone who has operated at a senior level within sales, account management or business development.
You will take full commercial responsibility for Victoria (and Lower NSW), managing key customer relationships while identifying and converting new opportunities across the agribusiness sector. Expect to be on the road 80%+ of the time — this is a relationship-driven, face-to-face role.
You will be trusted to think strategically, act commercially and represent Colquhoun's at a senior level with customers.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute the sales strategy for Victoria & Lower NSW
Grow revenue through both new business development and strategic account management
Build deep, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
Act as a trusted commercial advisor, understanding customer operations and packaging requirements
Manage the full sales cycle — from opportunity identification through to execution and ongoing account growth
Build and maintain a strong, forward-looking pipeline
Collaborate closely with supply chain, artwork and production teams to deliver on customer expectations
Represent Colquhoun's professionally in market and at industry level
What We're Looking For
This role will suit someone who brings experience, credibility and commercial judgement, including:
A proven track record in account management and business development
Senior-level experience within sales or commercial management (agribusiness, packaging, industrial or related sectors preferred)
Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts and long sales cycles
Strong business acumen with the confidence to engage at management and ownership level
High personal accountability, resilience and self-motivation
Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills
Strong organisational skills and CRM discipline
