Description
Oxford Economics is a leading global provider of economic and real estate forecasts, research, and consulting solutions.
You will be a leading member of the team responsible for producing real estate forecasts and research for Australia, as well as presenting Oxford Economics' view to clients.
As a senior member of the team, you will own and deliver detailed, city-level real estate forecasts and analysis across both traditional assets (office, industrial etc.) and emerging assets (data centres, build-to-rent etc.) to help our clients make better decisions.
The role combines forecasting and data analysis, written thought leadership, and client engagement. You'll also bring an entrepreneurial mindset, partnering with our business development team to bring our real estate research to clients and prospects across the region, including through events, presentations, and media. Your work would combine forecasting and data analysis, written output, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of credible, consistent, and detailed real estate forecasts for the Australian market across multiple asset classes
* Effectively communicate Oxford Economics' Australia real estate outlook through written research, visualisations, analytics, and presentations
* Produce high-quality written outputs that articulate house views and advance market thinking on Australian real estate
* Act as a senior representative of the real estate economics service to clients and prospects, including through events, presentations, and media, in partnership with the business development team
* Collaborate with the global real estate economics and macroeconomics teams to contribute to globally relevant research and insights
* Identify opportunities to enhance and evolve our real estate economics services, including new ideas, methodologies, and client-focused improvements
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* 5+ years' experience delivering real estate research, market analysis, or forecasting. Commercial sector expertise is desirable (e.g. office)
* Strong understanding of real estate markets and economic drivers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analysis clearly to diverse audiences
* An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work autonomously and contribute to service development and growth
* Strong academic background, with a degree in real estate or economics (or equivalent professional experience)
