ABOUT THE ROLE

The Stakeholder Relations Lead is responsible for implementing Tactic's stakeholder engagement activities, industry initiatives, and membership programs in line with the organisation's strategic direction. The role works closely with the Tactic team to ensure members and stakeholders are engaged, supported, and connected to opportunities that build regional capability. This includes delivering programs, managing relationships, coordinating initiatives, and supporting external representation of Tactic. The role includes information and database management, which does include some administrative components.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Member Management, Retention & Engagement

* Leading Tactic's membership program, from onboarding to renewal.
* Implement strategies to retain current members and increase member satisfaction.
* Conduct regular check-ins (virtual and in-person) to ensure members are engaged, informed, and benefiting from their membership.
* Actively address member concerns, feedback, and suggestions to improve their experience.
* Promote membership benefits to potential new members and support retention initiatives for existing members.

Face-to-Face & Virtual Engagement

* Conduct regular in-person visits with business across the region, including site visits and one-on-one meetings.
* Represent Tactic at industry events, briefings, and networking functions.
* Promote regional capabilities to buyers and key industry stakeholders.

Program Delivery

* Assist with planning, coordination, and delivery of Tactic events including the Annual Conference, Trade Expo, Industry Briefings, Meet the Buyer events, and other networking sessions. Including non-member events.
* Liaise with business to encourage participation in Tactic events and initiatives.
* Support Tactic Team in fee for service delivery including supplier tours.
* Support delivery of funded programs and initiatives.

Promotion & Communication

* Work with the broader team to ensure members are informed of opportunities, news, and updates through EDMs, social media, website updates, and other channels.
* Support marketing and promotional activities to enhance member engagement and attract new members.

Information Management

* Manage and maintain the Tactic CRM system and Local Supply Index ensuring accuracy and integrity of member data.
* Oversee spreadsheets or reports as required for membership tracking and reporting.
* Oversee and ensure the accuracy and currency of member and supplier information on the Local Supplier Index.

Reporting & Administration

* Provide regular membership and retention reports to the CEO and the Tactic Committee when requested.
* Prepare and submit funding and annual reports and grant applications (e.g., LBF, DEM), ensuring accurate data collection, compliance, and clear outcome reporting.
* Assist in debtors follow-up and other membership-related administration as required.
* Governance support to the CEO when necessary

COMPETENCIES

Essential:

* Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, or client relationship management.
* Understanding of the Upper Spencer Gulf and Far North region, and the industries that operate within it.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* High level administrative capability, with advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, and strong attention to detail.
* Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to a range of audiences.
* Ability to travel when required and work flexibly to meet organisational needs.
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong initiative, accountability and productivity, while maintaining clear and proactive communication.

Desirable:

* Experience in working with Indigenous organisations and stakeholders.
* Experience with CRM systems and database management.
* Understanding of a not-for-profit organisation governed by a Committee.
