Heavy Equipment Operator Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our mining team. The successful candidate will operate a range of heavy machinery, including articulated dump trucks, and work closely with loaders to transport ore and waste across the site.
About the Role:
* Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including articulated dump trucks
* Work closely with loaders to transport ore and waste across the site
* Tipping product into ore passes or on ROMs
* Completing pre-shift checks and ensuring equipment is safe for operation
* Communicating effectively using two-way radios for clear and safe communication
* Following all site safety protocols and conducting risk assessments
Requirements:
* Current manual driver's licence required
* Previous operating experience is highly desirable
* QSEC card preferred but not essential
* Ability to pass a low-risk medical assessment
* Commitment to safety and teamwork
