Responsibilities
* Work hands-on building structures and working on construction sites
* Gain full training in all aspects of the carpentry industry
* Receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices throughout your training and employment
Ideal Candidate
* Positive attitude, self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn
* Punctual, reliable, and hard-working
* Committed to completing your apprenticeship and becoming a fully qualified carpenter
* Team player with attention to detail
* Driver's licence or access to reliable transport
* CI Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain prior to starting
Priority Applicants
* Those who have already commenced their apprenticeship
* Applicants who lost their position due to COVID-19
* Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply
Eligibility
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
