Your new role
In this role you will find yourself carrying out duties including, but not limited to:
* Supervise and engage children in a safe, supportive environment
* Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities (e.g. games, crafts, sports
* Assist with homework and learning tasks
* Promote positive behaviour and social development
* Communicate with parents and school staff
* Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
* Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met
* Prepare and serve snacks
* Support children with diverse needs and backgrounds
* Collaborate with team members to deliver quality care
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will require the following;
* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card in QLD)
* First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
* Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Understanding of National Quality Standards (NQS)
* Experience working with children aged 0-5 years
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to plan and deliver educational programs
* Commitment to child safety and wellbeing
* Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude

The successful candidate will be offered an immediate start working with a dynamic team at the fast-paced after-school care organisation.
You will be offered an attractive rate of $37.00 per hour plus super, working Monday to Friday 30-35/hrs a week on a casual or permanent contract.
