We are seeking dedicated, reliable, and child-safe Disability Support Workers with experience supporting children and young people with complex physical, intellectual, and mental health needs. Our approach is grounded in trauma-informed practice, strong child safety principles, and a deep respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of every young person.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide safe, person-centred care in a therapeutic home
* Support young people in daily life, learning, and personal growth
* Follow individual plans to build independence, confidence, and life skills
* Create a stable, nurturing environment where young people feel safe
* Build genuine, trusting relationships through consistency and empathy
* Be a positive role model and set clear, supportive boundaries
* Encourage community connection and social inclusion
* Use a calm, trauma-informed approach to support behaviours
* Work collaboratively and keep clear, accurate records
* Show up as a reliable, steady presence young people can depend on

Mandatory Requirements
* Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Support, Youth Work, or a related field or willing to enrol
* Working with Children Blue Card for paid work
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
* Unrestricted driver's license (Minimum P2 license)
* LCS2 (or willing to apply)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Current CPR Certificate
