The Opportunity
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Bracken House Hostel in our Western Region.
A great opportunity exists, with availability required on weekends, for someone to perform cooking and kitchen duties.
We are seeking people to provide a high standard of quality care to facility residents, by providing and maintaining a high standard of cooking and food service within the facility.
What you will bring to the role:
Experienced in planning, preparation and cooking fresh meals
Experience in table service and clearing duties
Experience in working in a fast-paced kitchen and/or bulk food preparation – desirable
Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
Experience in Aged Care – desirable
Team player who is highly motivated
Availability to work various shifts across various days
