The role
Role Overview
ACH Group is seeking a part‐time (0.6FTE) receptionist/administration officer at our Milpara site in Rostrevor. The role is based in the residential care home and may evolve to full time in the future.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for customers, staff and visitors.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and hospitable environment.
- Support the processing of payments efficiently.
- Handle documentation, registration and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee visitor and contractor sign‐in processes.
- Coordinate the management of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Collaborate with staff members within the care home.
- Provide additional administrative support as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in reception or administration with initiative and a positive can‐do attitude.
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office and ability to learn new databases quickly.
- Strong multitasking, problem‐solving abilities and high attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills to engage a diverse range of clients.
- Collaborative work style and supportive team player.
- Commitment to helping older people live a fulfilling life.
- Current flu vaccine and up‐to‐date COVID‐19 vaccination (3 doses).
- Police Check for unsupervised contact/ vulnerable groups less than 12months old upon commencement.
