**THE POSITION**
As an Chemistry Laboratory Technician, you will perform analysis, development and stability batches to support the development of new products at Parnell.
This person will form part of the multi-department Chemistry Laboratory Technician representative. Strong documentation development and management practice including quality by design practices is desired. Having experience as a process Chemistry Laboratory Technician will add value to the team to ensure each product follows the quality by design principles.
Strong organic and synthetic chemistry background will suit this role and ensure success. Ability to understand the interaction of process parameters to deliver desired results under different environments would be helpful to perform this role seamlessly. Knowledge and experience in process development and experimental design is essential including GMP Prinicples is strongly desired. This role will support the team in ensuring that all process related tasks and reviews are completed in a timely manner to meet project milestones.

**Responsibilities**
- Participate as Formulation Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cross-department projects for New Product Introduction (NPI), Innovations and Technical Transfers (TT), including those from Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMO)
- Liaise with internal stake holders throughout entire projects
- Perform literature reviews to support new business projects
- Perform lab scale and scale up formulations for new products
- Assist in preparation of new product Process Flows, Critical Control Point Analysis, Formulation development studies
- Prepare and report on development studies
- Prepare the development batch and process records to use in manufacturing
- Assist in the investigation of non-conformances in production for new products
**Skills & Experience**
- BSc in Science or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a pharmaceutical or sterile manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills both written and verbal. Proactive attitude
- Exceptionally strong writing skills relevant to quality documents and reports
- Be able to work autonomously and as a team
- The ability to communicate effectively with personnel from all levels
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues while making timely and accurate decisions
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:
- Bachelor Degree (preferred)
